The Bits and Bytes Computer Club is a progressive, not-for-profit, group for adults aged 50 years or better who wish to gain a better understanding of computers. Based in Kitchener, Ontario, Bits and Bytes offers both paid and free courses in addition to a monthly speaker series. The City of Kitchener's Tech Connects program is designed to help older adults access devices and improve their digital literacy skills and they offer both tech lending and introductory courses on software and devices. Courses are offered on both an in-person and remote basis and registered program members can take out iPads and Chromebooks for 30-day lending periods.
